The Coastal Maine CFO (formerly Acadia CFO) experience surrounds you with beauty and tranquility. The Franciscan Guest House (26 Beach St. Kennebunk, ME) provides the perfect setting for an adult camp of 40 or 50 people. The grounds (called the Park when the property was a private mansion) are phenomenal. Campers can enjoy the natural beauty of the area which offers peaceful walks along the river and other outdoor recreational activities. There are several acres with level paved walking paths through the woods and along the river, with lots of benches, statuary, and little nooks for meditation. There are two beautiful outdoor chapels. There is also a separate building where the original mansion was – which now houses a large Chapel and a Gift Shop. The stained glass in the Chapel is incredibly beautiful, even on a cloudy day! The grounds are inviting, and in the autumn, the trees are spectacular! Fall foliage and ocean views are all part of your time away. For over 25 years Acadia CFO (now Coastal Maine CFO) was held at the Claremont Hotel, one of the oldest hotels on Mount Desert Island, in northern Maine. Unfortunately, the hotel was sold and could no longer accommodate our camp. This is our fourth camp at the Franciscan Guest House (Yay!) and our entire team is looking forward to making new memories for every camper. We look forward to welcoming you to Maine and all that a Coastal Maine CFO experience can offer. ♥ ♥ ♥ This poem reflects a camper’s CFO experience: Coastal Maine CFO |
